Racing Against the Odds

Matt Bowie, a T8 paraplegic who lost mobility in his legs due to a spinal cord injury in 1981, races his 1970 Camaro SS using adaptive hand controls at the 75-80 Dragway in Monrovia, Md., every weekend.
